 BrokenLooper is a simple pseudo-granular buffer looper. record input or load a file, it takes 1000 ms of this and buffers it.
Then you can play it back - whack the volume up and hit play. You can randomise or oscillate the position (use the Width parameter to widen the window when oscillating).
In the latest version theres a Stereo Magic option which adds a slight delay between the left and right channels to give a slight pulsing/chorus effect.
Theres also a Pitch Sequencer. Get the Playback Speed to the pitch you want, click and drag the Save number to the position you want to save to and release to save. Then horizontally drag the sequence numbers to adjust the pitch for each position. Choose between synching to Beats or Bars (synching should work in all hosts).

 Copier is a polyphonic sampler which can load samples and then splits it into lots of little grains which are combined together to create a version of the original, Copier allows you to alter the speed the grains are output , it has a LFO and a randomizer which alters which grain is output.

 dropout is a sample player that utilizes granular pitch shifting and sample slicing to play back a sample in new and unusual ways. the first row of sliders controls the actual playhead position in the sample at that step. the second row controls the coarse pitch, which is multiplied by the pitch variance setting at the top. the bottom row of toggles allows each individual slice to be reversed. all the other settings should be familiar from the breakdown, mashup, and sideslip effects. |

Implemented in the Max/MSP programming language, FutureBooster offers the performer or composer a wide variety of soundscapes and textures. The synthesizer can run as a standalone application or as a VST plug-in and can be controlled using a MIDI keyboard. granulOSO can be used to turn any sample into a synth and its good at making cheap keyboard sounds.
As well as synth primitives, granulOSO can be coaxed into lo-fi timestretching with degree of stretch, and grain size adjustable on the fly. Whilst doing this, granulOSO uses a mono trigger with polyphonic pitch so each new note's samples join in rather than start again so it can be used as a gnarly harmonizer.

 This plugin is a Granular Sample Player based on AudioMulch's Bubble Flower. There are, of course, some slight differences.
Firstly, this is playable with a midi keyboard.
Secondly, this is nowhere near as CPU efficient! :D
However, it works wonderfully and is capable of producing some fantastic sounds if you experiment with it. |

 minerva is a granular generator for greating percussive sounds. there are 80 source wavelets for each channel, 40 short and 40 long. all short wave sources are velocity sensitive and all sources are pitch shiftable. each channel has a separate granular processor with pitch, size and rate paramters as well as random adjustors. finally a nice bitcrush rounds each channel off. white keys C-3 thru A-3 are the triggers. version 1.03 fixes several outstanding bugs.
