I don't have any plans to make anything like that, but you could use Jitter to do it.

Atomic Cloud Generator Feature Request

Is there any possibility of an Atomic Cloud Generator for video? Can you imagine how awesome that would look? I'm imagining putting in a video clip and sort of gently scrubbing through it with the same features at ACG, but instead of sample grains, it would be jittering video frames, and then rendering it out. That would be wicked. It'd have to be small resolution video, like 320x240.

RE: SoundBorb Manager

This thread is probably the best place to start:

http://www.gersic.com/soundborb/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3

And Borbifier is decent, despite being a little buggy:

http://www.gersic.com/soundborb/forum/viewtopic.php?t=119

Hope that helps. Feel free to ask questions if anything isn't clear.

That utility was contributed by a user on this forum. I just downloaded it, and if I click on WindowsApplication2.exe, it takes awhile, but I eventually get a "browse for folder" window. I imagine it wants you to tell it where Sound Borb is located...

I was actually refering to the other file in the Borb Manager folder -- WindowsApplication2.vshost.exe. The one you noted does indeed work despite the lack of a configuration file (noted in the Installation.txt file).

Also, is there a comprehensive primer for creaing Sound Borbs?

SoundBorb Manager

I notice WindowsApplication2.vshost.exe in the folder. Is it supposed to actually load VSThost.exe? I have it in another folder, but double-clicking on the exe noted above doesn't do anything. In the Installation.txt file it notes a WindowsApplication2.vshost.exe.config file, but I don't see this or WindowsApplication2.exe.config file.

Just trying to figure it all out.

Randomness vs. Loopedness

I often see on this forum that you can either randomize a sound or loop it. My question is, what does it do if it is neither looped nor randomized. When does it play? How often? Does it play concurrent with other sounds?

I tested this with about 10 sounds. I set them all to no randomness and no looping. I heard it play a sound the moment I started the Borb but it never played anything again in the next five minutes that I waited.

Also, did I read correctly that random files do no play concurrently with other random files?

Thx very much for responding - that's what it's all about : feedback.
I will leave you now with a final link / brandnew piece. One of the best things I did in the 21st century untill now, in which I used AC more extensively. Piece is already compressed down to 128 kbps - so please use SUPERheadphones.

RE: New SoundBorb set

Sounds great, David. I like how the guitar sound compliments the underlying drone sounds. Sorry to take so long getting back to you (it's been a busy week), but I've added it to the downloads page:

http://www.soundborb.com/borb.php?id=70

Thanks!

If you wish, you can download my lastest SoundBorb set from:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/af9d896/n/Blue_Zone_Installer_zip

It's yet another set of musical, ambient sounds and loops featuring drones, chords, arpeggios and effects.

Cheers,
