Tom Gersic works as Director, Technical Solutions for Salesforce.com, where he leads Mobile Delivery and Development at Model Metrics. His work has included architecting commercial and enterprise deployments of many mobile apps, including the largest-ever enterprise deployment of an iPad application. He is also a frequent speaker at Salesforce.com events such as Dreamforce, Cloudstock, and Cloudforce, and his work has been featured in keynotes at these events. Tom has also developed simulation software for the US military, the Department of Homeland Security, and FEMA, in addition to enterprise applications for multiple Fortune 100 companies. He taught at Northwestern University as an Adjunct Professor in 2008, where he also completed his graduate studies in 2005, working with adaptive signal processing and synthesis. He is the author of a chapter in the book Playing the Past, a collection of academic writings on the subject of game studies, and has also written a number of smaller Windows and OSX applications, available for download from this website.
